Footnotes:
A special dedicated to our families and friends past and present for all your love and support.

Doug Sahm – you're always in our hearts.

"Louie and the Lovers" are Louie Ortega, Frank Paredes, Alberto Parra and Steve Vargas. The group originated in Salinas, CA. in 1968.

While still in high school the band was discovered by Doug Sahm, leader of the "Sir Douglas Quintet". With the release of the "Louie and the Lovers the Complete Recordings" came the inspiration of collaborating to make another record.

Original members have reunited after forty years and are very excited to be performing together again. "Louie and the Lovers - Rise Again", marks the rebirth of the group and shows that they still have what it takes to bring it on home.
